Former media personality and cousin to Sizwe Dhlomo (father's side) enjoyed a classic  storybook wedding this past December to her long-time beau and Nigerian-American business mogul Chinezi Chijioke. Khanyi Dhlomo is currently the founding editor of South Africa's Destiny Mag and True Love Magazine editor, and was named one of the most influential women in media by The Media magazine. (Just as a Did You Know: Khanyi started her career as a newscaster and then transitioned to the magazine industry at age 22 when she took over as the Editor of True Love Magazine, and under her leadership, the magazine thrived and expanded into other African countries)
Khanyi, formerly Khanyi Dhlomo-Mkhize says they met in 2005 when she was completing her MBA at Harvard Business School at a fundraiser for the African Leadership Academy run by a mutual friend of the two. The pair got engaged in February 2009 after a traditional proposal.




















The wedding was attended by 300 of the power couple's family and friends in a beautiful wedding ceremony  at a venue in Franschheok, the Cape Winelands. Khanyi looked every bit the queen that she is clad in an ivory-coloured organza dress by designer to the stars, Elie Saab while Chijioke was equally eye-catching in his black power suit and baby blue tie.
